Clearly a short focal-length lens alone that covers a wide area yields video that is too pixelated to zoom in and see detail. A digital zoom does not help if the data does not exist – you get bigger pixels, lacking detail.

Merging the capabilities of fixed cameras, Unmanned PTZ Control (CloseView Elite) and EyeMax provide the most efficient way to properly provide surveillance coverage in one easy-to-install unit.
